Danny is giving his all for the purple and gold. I know it is not adding up, but that's all we can ask.

in the big games it's apparent he feels the pressure and doesn't play to his potential.

but brennan is not coming in for this one reason, imho - orgeron is under such pressure by the fan base that he can't afford to lose with a freshman qb. this board would be going wild. you can find lots of criticism from fans because brennan played against troy.

I would like to hand the keys over to brennan, to tell the truth. not for next year, I think he is a better passer and we stand a better chance of winning some games. but it ain't gonna happen unless there is an injury.

Etling played one of his worst games sat. He seemed to be way off in the passing game. Don't know what the deal was there but let's hope he's past all that because we need him to play better going forward.

One thing I noticed that was... Odd... Was the option play. Etling and whomever the rb was ran the option a few times, but never really sold like he was going to pitch it, which seems backwards... Maybe they're trying implement that, but I don't really know why since etling isn't really a natural runner and Brennan doesn't seem to be either. He does ok scrambling when the pocket breaks down, but not the kind of guy who you build an option offense around.
