Why are extreme liberals so emotional and drained out?

I'm a moderate man, but everytime I see a extreme liberal (not the moderate Democrats) on television or on Twitter, they always look drained out physically or emotional. It's always a face of heartbreak or sadness.

Think about how miserable one must be to wake up every day and be perpetually offended at things that have nothing to do with your daily life, such as statues, school names, mascots and statements made by people you don't know that are a world away. They live a humorless existence where disapproval or disagreement amounts to apostasy or blasphemy. Authoritarians generally aren't happy people.

Ive been arguing with a liberal " friend" for 5 days straight on the kneeling issue. Every time he gets countered and made a fool of, he backtracks, changes his position, laughs at me and says im the dumb one. its the most painful thing to watch. they truly are delusional.
We have gone from right to kneel, to institutional racism, to its not about race, to all cops dont know how to do their job, to BoB crime and countless deaths are nothing into comparison of 1 cop who cant perform properly. its just... SMH.
and of course i got the " i work on campus and im around much smarter people than you"
