sorry, didn't mean to scare. I just learned the value of getting shite checked out when you know your body and know something isn't right.
i hadn't been to a doctor since my pediatrician. always healthy.
when the "general malaise" persisted for over 3 months --after an ER visit in a small mountain town while on vacation, an urgent care visit, and then a visit to a GP, each of whom gave me steroids and antibiotics and never diagnosed the problem--I went back to doctor and said you need to do something besides steroids and antibiotics. got a CT scan. huge lymph nodes in my chest. got a PET scan--it had spread to bones and lungs.
it was gone after 2 months of treatment but i had to continue for another 4 months.
This all started right at a year ago and i'm back to doing everything i did before and then some.
