First, call the cruise line itself for the cruise you are looking at and get a quote.
Then, look at crucon.com. The price of the cruise will be the same but they throw in extra things like pre-paid gratuities or onboard credit, depending on what sale they are having at the time.
Finally, go to Costcotravel.com and see what they offer for this cruise. They almost always offer “costco cash,” sometimes significant amounts, for their travel deals. We are staying at Portofino at universal this Christmas at a price $500 cheaper than the universal website and with $300 “costco cash” on a package I just booked through them. Plus, when you put it on your costco credit card, you get either 2 or 3 percent back as well.

I always use my cousin who is a travel agent. She has great ideas. Lots of stuff I wouldn't have thought of. I've been on 11 cruises now. Still haven't been to Alaska. I always think of cruising as sun and bikinis. That's just me. Travel agents don't cost anything. At least mine doesn't.
