Oh, is that what got him in IRS trouble? To the extent he ran to what was it? Rhodesia or Zimbabwe to try to stay out of prison? Then after just a short while decided US prison may not be so bad after all? If only he knew then all he had to do was take a knee.

No dude. The America we see today is a "made up thing". What many sovereign citizens are trying to do is restore America as it was intended to be and once was. We are buried in legislation and government overreach.
Somethings only legal or illegal because we as a people or some fallible judge(attorney), says it is. Very little of it truly passes constitutional muster by strict interpretation. I mean, the fricking highest court in the land upheld a government mandate that forces citizens into commerce with Obamacare!
