That is definitely true - and I'm not saying it will, but Alleva thinks we have the best chance to compete in basketball.
As long as we stay relative in football - middle of the pack, that's all he cares about.
Where it may backfire on him is when we become the next Ole Miss. That is what may lose his job.

We are not even "relative" right now, whatever that means.
And there is no way, he is that blind to the culture here that he thinks just being middle of the pack in football will fly for very long.
