there should be a lot of evidence about his background (or activities) disclosed when they trace the trail of acquisition on the various weapons.

With family reports that he wasn't a gun guy, it seems unusual he could acquire that much weaponry so quickly.

It will be interesting how they walk this out with all those dead and wounded.

I find it odd that as someone who wasn't a gun guy or ex military would know so much about to how to conduct an attack like this, from pre planning to where to find these types of weapons, how to use them, knowing he needed a high vantage point and 2 shooting platforms to keep full auto barrels cooled etc. seemed to well equipped IMO. Usually whackos who just snap go buy a gun or steal one and run into a crowded area shooting. This was well orchestrated if the intent was to inflict maximum casualties

Right.

Who, what, where, when and how were the weapons acquired?

10 plus guns and presumably a couple thousand rounds of ammo is not light weight or small.

Getting that weaponry up to the 32nd floor when you have to walk through the casino floor to get to the elevators seems a difficult task.

I would think that even with bell hops and luggage carts, the size and or weight of the luggage should have at least caught the eye of the security at Mandalay Bay. Unless of course he had the room for a week or more and brought it all in slowly in small quantitates and weights.

Yeah, I wonder who would have the where with all to come up with all that so quickly?

From what I've read his family shouldn't be considered a reliable source of info relative to his life in the last 10-20 years. I don't think they were close or had much contact.
