Back when Orgeron was hired, it was sold to us as being an easy transition from Miles to him. There should be no fall off. NEVER was it brought up that the recruiting had fallen off for years and LSU had no players.

Orgeron himself said that we would be competing for the playoffs this season. Did he not know then how bad his players were????

Now, all of a sudden, this team is in rebuild mode and we shouldn't expect to be winning. Bullsh*t! We could be doing this exact same thing with a good coach that was hired last year, not damn Orgeron. We are the laughing stock of college football.

Unfortunately I have to agree. We have an idiot for an AD.

Yep, they will tweak around the edges just like Miles did for years.

Yup, this scares me.

Someone will end up taking the fall

It will likely be Canada because he is new and because of the offense

I think it is almost common knowledge around here now that O and Canada (not the Canuck national anthem) are not co-existing well together at all. I have heard this from several different places today...and all you have to do is listen to the part of the press conference after the game when O talks about the first play.

Is this true or is this just another classic Ponamsky deflect tactic to take the blame off of O.

I've heard the main clash is over qb. Etling is special ed's yes man. Goes the conservative route won't do anything out of eds control. Brennan apparently makes checks at the line and actually makes reads something ed is not a fan of because then he loses control. Canada wants Brennan to play o is pushing Etling. It's why Brennan has such a short leash. Apparently Etling and Canada don't get along to well either. Danny wasn't ran off from Purdue for poor play I will say that much there were other reasons.

What other reasons? I mean, if he's willing to be a "yes man" to a coach... what else could it be?

Heard attitude problems and clash with the coach. Could have been the coach tough because they had multiple qb's transfer. He actually had some good games for them.

But if he was butting heads with a coach at Purdue, why is he willing to be a "yes man" now? It's his senior year after all. Not like he is trying to win the position for next year too.

Think about it. Senior year it's securing his job he doesn't have an NFL future everyone knows that. There is a big internal rift between Canada and orgeron its evident.
