If that's the case, these people really have no clue the mentality they are dealing with.
Of course they knew there would be blowback. This way everyone is pissed at Trump instead of the owners for firing players over protests. Trump has clearly shown he is fine with taking fire on topics to stand up for common sense.

I thought about this angle prior, as well as getting the CTE crap off the minds of Progs for a bit.
But the more I thought about it, the less it made sense when I always went back to the "mind of a Prog".
