Good. Make the rich owners pay for their own stadiums. This is good for everyone, on both sides of the anthem issue.

So what!?

If the NFL and NBA dies then you have a few hundred black men forced to survive like the rest of us. Black folks are accustomed to survival. NO sweat.

The owners will still be filthy rich.

The fans will find another source of entertainment.

It's all good. Calm down.

quote:

there are currently bills in the U.S. House and Senate which would ban the use of federal funding for the construction of professional sports arenas.

quote:

The legislation was proposed over the summer, and now has renewed interest as the unpatriotic circus within the NFL continues. Oklahoma Republican Rep. Steve Russell introduced the first bill several months ago, and the proposal already has some bipartisan support.

“The federal government is responsible for a lot of important functions, but financing sports stadiums for multi-million – sometimes billion – dollar franchises is definitely not one of them,” Rep. Russell explained.

I fully support this move.
