Seantreal Henderson of the Bills had it and was unsure if he would ever play again. He is currently serving suspension because his doctor prescribed medical marijuana to him to ease the pain. Apparently the pain can be pretty severe, and of course the NFL in their infinite wisdom was like "yeah I get it but ehhh weed ya know, so if you could just sit out the next 8 games that'd be great." He is expected to come back though, so it's not out of the question that we could see Asik again if the Pels desire such.

What is Asiks incentive to say he can play again? Even if he was healthy enough to play, he's not going to. No team would every play him b/c he just isn't good enough to get minutes in an NBA game. So why wouldn't he just not play and get the medical retirement. He gets his money and we can all move on.
