These guys would make a bigger impact if they would start a media campaign educating people to comply and not do anything that would be perceived as threatening. Then if you feel that your were treated unfairly contact a lawyer and pursue legal action. That might actually help people not get killed and at the same time possibly revise police tactics in a positive way.

Okay I'm with you, but you're still failing to see WHY they are protesting. They think that regardless of how they act sometimes, they will be treated unfairly by a systemically unjust deep rooted issue. Telling them to behave better is really not going to go far. I'm just being honest since no one who supports the protest will be posting on this board.

And what about Philando Castille? He told the officer he had a weapon and where it was. In the process of reaching for his wallet which he was told to do, the officer misinterpreted this as aggression. This resulted in Castile being shot and killed. The officer was acquitted of all charges. We saw the video, and it is not clear at all what Castile should have done differently.
