My contention is that the NFL has a strict policy about what players can and can't do with their uniforms and they get fined if they break the rules. This has been the case for decades and has everything to do with their contracts w their gear suppliers (reebok, now Nike) and selling more shite. Sometimes it's pink nike shite.

Been the way it's done forever. We know this, have known this. There's an overwhelming body of evidence demonstrating exactly how they respond to uniform variations EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Explain to me, knowing what we know, how this 911 cleat violation is different from every other violation ever? I mean, seriously. This REALLY isn't hard. Talk about willful ignorance of the highest level.
