I don't think that's completely true. It would have already happened in college games before Trump's speech/twitter comments BUT FOR the fact that most, if not all, bands play the anthem prior to the players coming out of the locker room.
There have already been reports of it occurring at HS games and I'm sure several other instances that have gone unreported.
Will it increase because of Trump? Probably. But this was happening BEFORE he was elected. And truth be told, is probably a microcosm of WHY he was elected in the first place.

That's the funniest part. These idiots don't even realize that it is THEIR behavior that got the guy who they loved before he ran as a Republican but now hate elected President.
