I agree it really is very simple. Nobody other than the angry guy and two others have even mentioned the NFL going anywhere. The NFL isn't going anywhere long term unless we get into a full out issue with Iran, NK & whoever comes to their defense.

I agree that the NFL is fully behind letting the players antagonise until their bottom line gets hurt. Let's see what happens then, if it's bad enough don't be surprised when Goodell sings a new song for his people.


I'm personally hoping this explodes with mass displays of antagonism on the field. The fallout with definitely lay all the cards on the table.

The players don't have the power, they just have the next step. Power belongs to the consumer.

the players ARE the NFL... you fail to get behind them, and the product fails bc fans don't want to watch players who AREN'T the best in the world

and to the next post down, David Stern might be the GOAT commissioner for how the NBA grew under him
