My choice would be the Michelin LTX (even with the price) my second choice which I think nobody has mentioned would be the Firestone Destination LE for less money. On the bargain side I have heard good things about the General Grabber HTS but have never run them.

Same tire as the Cooper Discover SRX and a damn good tire, for Cooper truck tires, I like the AT3 myself, but I probably wouldn't buy it if I was mostly doing highway driving.
