Combination of bad Oline, average QB, and untrustworthy receivers. I don't think Canada is a bad OC at all. I just think he doesn't trust any of those positions well enough to open the passing game up.

Agreed.

And I think he's been pretty forthright about his ambition to be a HC. His career can ill-afford to tank at LSU.

So he trusted NCst to throw it 30 times a game? No, they failed to truly work on the passing game in the off-season. They believed they could just run over teams and Etling throwing sideline passes and bombs would be enough. No, you actually have to think.
