I don't know a whole lot about our U-teams, but is the forward position so bad in our younger pool that Sargent had to play in the tournament (I believe it was the U-20 World Cup) this summer and now this?

Or is it that he's so good, they wanted him to gain experience in that event?

He's pretty good, and the U20 group needed an extra forward threat, especially after a few players weren't released by their clubs (Haji Wright).

Sargent scored 4 goals as one of the youngest players in the tournament.

Sargent is signing with Werder Bremen when he turns 18 in February.
