Hernandez's lawyer is posturing for the upcoming lawsuit claiming the Patriots should honor the balance of his contract/signing bonus
Apparently the "outclause" for the patriots paying the bonus was they could cancel future payments if AH was ever convicted of a crime. Per Mass state law, since AH dies before exhausting all his appeals his conviction was thrown out.
