he has never changed, he is the same liberal progressive democrat he has always been.
he is more liberal then even nancy pelosi so why anyone would ever think this man is a republican, much less would vote with them, is pretty laughable.
i doubt mccain ever voted with republicans on a republican issue when his vote actually meant something and mattered, because he is 100% opposite side of every issue on every thing the republicans "say" they stand for.
i say "say" because in truth 60% of the republicans arent that different from mccain except they do "lean" republican party vote line where mcccain votes with democrates 90% of the time

well, being a vet, does not give you a jail get out of jail free card... McCain, did the samething as clinton. he went after trump supporters, so Trump went after him. Good for trump, IMO... McCain has always been a POS. When the media was calling him the Maverick, he was eating it up, as soon as he won the GOP nomination. They killed him, too funny, could not of happen to a better person..
