Not even close. And, what tax increase there was would be significantly offset by not having to pay health insurance premiums, which are higher than the taxes people pay for health care in single-payer countries around the world.

If your idea was true why did CA stop with the single payer notion? Was it because it was too affordable and taxes would actually be lower?
