I hammered most of the summer. The plan doesn't make sense unless O can routinely 1) Hire the very best coordinators nearly most likely every 1-2 years 2) Incorporate new philosophies very quickly

excatly

O having no real ethos or philosophy is going to doom this team. like i posted saturday night, this is likely the apext of coaching talent and on-field talent that O will have at LSU. the odds that O ever has coordinators of the level of Aranda/Canada is very low. the odds he has that level of coaching talent WITH the personnel we have? essentially 0

I was at least hoping that with the money we have to offer coordinators that there was always a decent chance to land quality guys with the whole thing simply coming down to the ability to evaluate coaching talent. There is of course all sorts of reasons to question said ability because it must be noted that Aranda was a Miles hire that O was simply able to keep around. Canada and the position coaches should be the examples to assess O's ability to evaluating coaching talent.

BINGO

Ed O's plan is to hire the best coordinators in the country....great plan. Only problem is if they are indeed the very best coordinators in the country they will be moving on to bigger things within a few short years. When that happens guess what? New philosophy change in either Offense or Defense and maybe both at the same time= more "rebuilding" or "time needed"
