3 games in. I'll admit it. I swallowed the shiny bait hook, line and sinker.

They said:
Our offense will be different. Multiple. Imaginative. Unpredictable. Explosive. I bought all of it.

The shifts will confuse the defense. We'll pass more. We'll make them play the whole field. Our run game will still be dynamic but with more passing. I bought all that too.

The truth:
We really don't shift that much. A couple linemen go to this side.... a couple go to that side. The defense shuffles around a bit or none and doesn't seem confused and then we run the play. Big whoop.

We're not explosive (other than some big hitters into double/triple coverage against Chattanooga).

We're not unpredictable. Those famed "tricky" shuffle passes? Yeah, we'll save those for when we're down by 30 points.

Screens? WTF are those? We won't run any of those till we're down big either.

And the biggest insult? The one thing we were actually good at for decades...Running. Yeah, we're going to be worse at that too.

So shame on me for buying the hype about a coordinator who so far isn't much better at passing and is WORSE at the one thing we could always hang our hat on.

Hate to say it but Ensminger's offense after Les was fired was WAAAY more fun to watch.

End Rant.

god forbid it take more than 3 games to install a bran new offense. it would be a shame for you to make any conclusion at this point

Canada isn't running anything he ran at Pitt. It doesn't look remotely the same. At NC state they ran a spread offense. Idk what he's trying to do but it isn't working

You member when LSU was gonna be 50/50?

Or when anyone questioned if it was smart to not work on a short passing game the first two games, that the resounding answer was that you'd be an idiot to question what canada called and you always take what the defense gives you? I member.

You can't indict Canada this early on, but man, Saturday night was shades of Les and Cam. Especially in the second half when all the three and outs snowballed and the wheels came off.

You must have a QB to win football games.....at any level. The guy does not have a QB. The kid can't throw a 50/50 ball to save his life. Furthermore, you must have a OL to protect said QB. Our OL can't protect themselves, much less a QB.

I wish we had an offensive minded HC

LSU can attract great defenses and coordinators

Hindsight now is Gundy or Mullen may have been homerun hires for us

Ugh

You're a major ignoramus. We didn't lose because of Canada or Aranda. We lost because our interior lineman suck, and that's not coach O's fault. That is Less Miles' fault. LSU waited too damn long to fire his arse.

I've never seen the rant latch on to a guy and make him above criticism like they did Canada. It was fascinating.

Anyone who actually looked at his history could see he bounced from job to job and had one really good year as OC. 2016. The rest of his resume is barely average.

Think about it like this...les Miles teams averaged more points a game than Canada's 11 years.

Our boys need to get to get pissed and play with a chip on their shoulders. Now.
