The OL has had the same problem for years. In fact, they have gotten worse under Grimes. O should have canned his sorry arse and found one of the best OL coaches out there.
OL is loaded down with Sun Belt/SWAC level talent. Grimes is clueless.
I can only assume they want to bring Mawae in here, but wanted him to get actual coaching experience first, so he's getting that in Chicago with the Bears.
Hopefully he'll be the OL Coach in 18 or maybe it will be split into Tackles/TE's and Guards/Centers.
I'd go after Key/Cristobal in any case and maybe hire Pendry as Shadow.
It has to be totally revamped and overhauled in both Coaching and Recruiting philosophy........
