I've made jambalaya in a coffee can over an open fire while camping in the woods before...

it's what you make of it and your skills that overcome the subtle differences of cooking pots.

I've seen it made in a giant cane kettle...doesn't mean it cant produce a good jambalaya easily.

Labels on pots are just mincing words
