What are some good westerns like Tombstone, 3:10 Yuma? I've seen all the Eastwoods. Looking for something a little modern. Thanks!!

Open Range
Broken Trail

(basically anything with Robert Duvall)

And I liked The Homesman and Meek's Cutoff but many thought they were too bleak.

Hell or High Water is a "modern western." Its about bank robbers in West Texas. Pretty good flick.

If your looking for an "old-timey" western, try the assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford. It's not a lot of action but a great look into James' life and death as well as Ford's.

Quigley Down Under and The Man From Snowy River for more modern westerns. Both happen to be "Australian" westerns too.

Some consider No Country for Old Men a modern Western.

You've probably seen it, but if not, go watch it.
