I know you're messing with the OP, but he kind of has a point if First Take is only talking about the NBA and Kaepernick. College football and the NFL, the most and one of the most popular sports, just started their seasons, yet they're talking about a league in the offseason and a player who isn't playing. Not to mention MLB is entering the final stretch for the postseason.
This is one of the reasons why people have changed the channels and ESPN still doesn't get it. I think it's time for a mission statement from somewhere over there that they are a sports network and they will talk about sports. If anchors want to talk about politics then they can apply for a job at CNN. (I think that's a safe bet if they are talking about Kaepernick). As far as the NBA goes, I can't imagine what they could be talking about unless Tony Allen singing with New Orleans is a hot topic
