There's no rationale for forcing a woman into the booth other than SJW/PC bullshite.
To increase female viewership? A lot of women already watch football and those numbers aren't going to be materially increased by putting a hole at the PBP (and certainly note enough to offset the male audience that will be "frick this").
This is akin to taking the announcers of monster truck rallies and putting them behind the mike for a female chess tournament. They don't belong there and their "perspective" brings nothing to the viewer or the event.
