Should the government regulate drugs, test to see which ones are safe, and restrict certain ones?

Should the government regulate food, make sure they are free of pesticides, transported properly, and the consumer gets a product that is safe to eat?

Or should there be no government regulations governing restaurants? Should we just trust restaurants will do the right things?

I'd say government has a large role here, but maybe you disagree.

Its all or nothing with a lot of these folks. All "Govt is bad except for military" is just what many have settled on.
