All rock/pop musicians are in it for the money. Is that "selling out" though? Did Joe compromise himself in the process?
I mean - I can listen to Life in the Fast Lane (Henley/Frey on the lyrics, and Felder did some solid work in there as well, but that was a straight, old school Joe riff), In the City (technically a Joe solo song, but he wrote it while he was in the Eagles and they "covered" it) and Pretty Maids All in a Row - Joe did some of his best composition as an Eagle.
