Owned a Tacoma for 6 years and I now own a Tundra (almost 2 years).
Both are excellent trucks. I actually gave my Tacoma to someone in my family. After being in the Tundra, driving the Tacoma felt small. Granted it was 2008 Tacoma (Tundra is 2016), so it was a huge upgrade.
The Tundra has TONS of extra space. The back seat on the crewmax is the most spacious of any full size.
Gas mileage is the only downfall of the Tundra, otherwise, it's an amazing truck. If money isn't an issue, get the Tundra crewmax.
