No reason to not go full size with what the midsize trucks cost. I like the idea of a Tacoma, but the comfort is terrible.

Well, there are reasons to get a Tacoma. Like others have said, if you live in the city, its easier to drive and park. My reasons for having one are I do live in the city and I live in a house built in 1929. The parking is behind the house....you go up a narrow drive along side the house, then I make a hard left (12" of clearance from the corner of my house when I turn)....then make a hard right to get in my carport. I can fit a full size truck back there but its a PITA. The other thing about the Taco is my wife will drive it.....like when she woke up to go to work a while back and had a flat tire. She took my truck as I work from home. She will also drive when I have been drinking....if she hasn't been....thats not often though. It does have a small backseat but I have put friends back there for short drives to eat or whatever. They survived. But the interior width is less than my wife's Accord. I'm perfectly comfortable in the drivers seat and I'm 6'1.

That's a point for the Tundra.
