There's a little T-junction on 353 dead center and just off the map I posted bottom of last page. It's the other side of the wishbone of the waterway that goes under the bridge also linked previous page. It looks like a there's a sand-bank put in there near a cluster of houses VERY close to Lake Martin itself. My money is on that's where they ditched the canoe and started walking.
