re: OT Parents: Do you think there's too much homework assigned in the public school system?

My kids were both struggling until we took it upon ourselves to monitor and basically teach our kids the lesson every singe evening. Now (well, school just started back up, but for the last two years) they both do great and we aren't surprised by sudden low grades any longer. I'm thoroughly convinced the teachers are just lazy.
