It would only be his second year as a starter

This will be his 3rd year as a starter. He started his sophomore year at Purdue before being benched 5 games into the season for Austin Appleby

I know this does not answer your question but I don't think your question is one that can be realistically answered

You can't "realistically" answer the question "Would you be satisfied if Etling threw for 2800 yards, 22 td's, 10 int's, and completed 62% of his passes this season? You can't type yes or no? Seems fairly easy

Way to hype up Hurt's stats against those teams.

The poster said Hurts declined "towards the end of the season." So I listed 2 games at the end of the season in which he did fantastic in directly refuting his claim. Try to keep up.

PS, this game was late in the season.

So when I pick 2 games late in the season that are directly in disagreement with what was claimed, it's "hyping up his stats" but when you pick a game that he didn't play well in it's somehow not?

Laughable. The things you troll tide folks come up with. The career that Etling had while at Pur-who is meaningless. In what world is throwing 3 picks in a two game span is "fantastic"? Tell me you're kidding. I don't think very many scouts or coaches overlook turn overs as you do. No one overlooks QBs who can't protect the football. Yes, you're glorifying what went right in those two games and absolutely ignored the bad. I get it. You're simply looking through your loyalist glasses. I'd say 1/3 of your INTs coming in two games late in the season isn't much to write home about especially considering he played 15 games all season. Lastly, I answered your question with the last sentence in my previous post. I said I'm fine with those numbers as long as it translates to wins as opposed to losses. Try to keep up. Seems fairly easy. You're that guy that can recite every game or stat in the history of a sport but actually don't know anything about the game. 3 INTS are NOT fantastic. Even with 6 TDs. The fact is the kid threw 4 of his 9 picks in the last 5 games of the regular season. Again, not fantastic. Well maybe in your ovulation crimson world...
