It's Tuesday and this storm hit Houston days ago...are they good?
No. Could be because it's still raining over them now and there will be a slight difference between rainfall amounts here vs there.

WHY arent the pumps working? Democrat "leadership"?
Posted on 8/29/17 at 6:49 am to LSUfan4444
You are severely overestimating a gd rainstorm. Five days with between 4-8 inches of rain. Hell that's not unusual there.

I said last night how dumb it was to move the game into the path of the storm into Nola that has the worst pumping system on the planet, and these ostriches bashed me too. Truths and logical thinking aren't welcomed here. They deleted my thread. Good luck!

Oh, the storm is vastly different now. Doesn't change the fact that New Orleans is facing heavy rains today from outer bands and the mayor advised everyone to stay home and schools are closed. Harvey is hundreds of miles from New Orleans right now and schools are closed today. The storm being located hundreds of miles north by Saturday is irrelevant to the cities inability to process rain waters that are possible Tuesday - Thursday.
The game is more than likely good as Harvey makes it's turn north but to say that there's no chance for the game to run into issues because the storm will be in Tennessee by Saturday is naive.

It will already be Sunday in Mecca when the game starts- does that matter?

Central City could be problematic (no hotels there), Poydras, I-10, no problems.

TODAY IS TUESDAY. Good god guy. I get that you want to be right, but, you just aren't.

You lead a dramatic life don't you. Just relax man, we good.

Yes because the storm that hit Houston and the one that may hit new Orleans is the same. Good god.
We are under sea level and some of our pumps don't work. It will not be Houston level flooding, but some people have already had damaged houses and cars.

Just because you said it last night, and are repeating it again this morning, still doesn't make it right.
Where do you snowflakes come from?

They are projecting 4-8 inches of rain over 5 days. Some of y'all would bitch and argue no matter what.
Posted on 8/29/17 at 7:08 am to OU812
Drainage pumps are at 93%. They only need 80 to handle a cat 2 storm direct hit.

Shhhh...these guys need something to bitch about.

Pumps are not working either. Great.
As long as the toilets are working in the Dome it's OK.

Oh shut the frick up, my friends had to replace their cars and stuff a couple of weeks ago. It's tough to place any sort of faith in the S&WB right now, but hey keep being a judgemental a-hole in that ivory tower.

You got 10 inches of rain in one day. Not even projecting that much over 5 days

This seems awfully similar to everyone bashing the guy who started the thread regarding a potential move of the game from Houston. Guess we'll see.
