It's Monday - afternoon - and they haven't made a decision. You tell me how easy it is to move a NCAA game on 5 days notice? Hope I'm wrong, but I've seen us in these and it get fricked up far, far too often.

Where do you suggest we play this game?

I mean i think from a football perspective the only thing that would be BAD per se for LSU would be Provo, Denver, or some other elevated place.

Even Phoenix wouldn't be that big a deal IMO. Sure it would suck for the fans but it's not like 70k BYU fans would pack that stadium out either.

When exactly have you see this fricked up? How many times? Please list them. Because other than Florida last year, I can't think of a single time a where a game couldn't be moved successfully. And the only reason that Florida became such a clusterfrick was because Florida, despite the urging of LSU and SEC officials, dug in their heels and refused to move the game. Florida decided they would take their chances and either play in Gainsville or not at all.

There were no problems moving South Carolina to LSU a few years ago.

Nor were there problems moving our Arizona State home game to Tempe in 2005.

Nor were there problems moving our UT home game to a Monday night in 2005.

The Superdome says that they need to know something by Tuesday to make it happen. I assume other venues that are in contention need similar notice. And don't you think ESPN, who it would seem is solely in control of this decision now that NRG is definitely not happening, knows exactly how long they need to mobilize their equipment and crews?

They have apparently contacted multiple locations to see who could host. You can have a stadium ready in about 48 hours so 5 days is plenty of time for a FINAL decision.

Really several? Besides Florida 2016 what others were there with advance notice of a storm that couldn't get done? When did they move So Car in 15? Not much more than 5 days if that.

Do you idiots really not remember 2 years ago? They announced the USC game move to BR on a Wednesday. They have time.

They didn't just start looking for another venue today. They've been at this for a couple days now. Relax.
