Move the game to where the storm is heading? You're a genius.

It is not going to be played in dallas.

Dallas is slated to get showers all week.

Houston vs dallas in Jerry world Thursday
Florida vs Michigan in Jerry world.
SMU, North Texas, TCU all have home games. Hotels will be booked for the most part alone without any evacuees coming from the Houston area.

I don't think Dallas is a viable option at all. Even on Monday. Which byu would never agree to because thy play against Utah their next game and they do not want a short week to prepare.

Old cotton bowl field is going to be soaked. I just don't see either school wanting to play outside in sloppy conditions. Especially given the depression is currently heading north.

LSU and BYU will give input to ESPN, but per the contract, the final decision will be EPSN's.

The good news is that both schools are amenable to working together on this.

Meanwhile, prayers for those down in Houston and much of South Texas. Right now, their well-being is the real issue.

CB on Saturday or JerryWorld Monday afternoon would work.

Small chances of rain here in NoTex this week.

CB was remodeled a while back & seats 90,000.

Evacuees most likely go to shelters, as many or more hotel rooms in DFW as in HOU.

Just saying this is a viable alternative to NO or BR.

I assume you mean the real Cotton Bowl downtown?

ESPN makes the call on this game, nit Joe Alleva, Dallas may also experience weather problems next Saturday and the logistics of hotel rooms are a problem with one big game already being played there. The Cotton Bowl is also a very bad part of Todd for a night game.

Wishful thinking. I would almost rather Dallas than NOLA.
