Specifically how?

I would have challenged any media types who continually painted LSU in a bad light as not being flexible and reminded them that LSU was trying to work with Florida on this but Florida wouldn't budge and only came to the table when it was too late to move the game. This is certainly their right to keep a home game but that has no reflection on LSU.

Sunday before the game scheduled for Gainesville, when it became apparent that it could be a issue.

How do you enforce this?

The conference and Florida wanted LSU to cancel a home game against South Alabama in order that the Florida game could be played on that date. Because apparently this was the only possible date according to the them. SEC office had no power at the time to force either school to do anything other than what was scheduled and under contract. SEC has no say in out of conference games that are played by conference members.

LSU controls all of Florida and all if its sports venues? LSU has the power to control the political apparatus of all of Florida including things like city police forces, county sheriff's offices, emergency response entities?

Your are fricking stupid you know damn well that isn't the case. All LSU has to say is we intend to play Florida that weekend. We do not care at what venue it is. Florida you decide that and we will be there. LSU offered to fly in and out the same day. LSU offered to play sunday, they offered to play monday. All options were rejected by florida. Oh and by the way. Every single other program in the state of Florida played that day or sometime that weekend. SO the narrative of safety for players and or lack of police and stadium personnel is a damn lie.

The SEC had no power to force the issue yet he allowed Florida to play him.

Because it wasn't an SEC sanctioned event?

You obviously are mentally retarded. The SEC has no power over none conference games as South Alabama isn't a SEC member. LSU has the power here but yet let Foley and Sankey play him. I am still of the opinion that LSU should have told Florida to go pound the sand. We will play you at anytime on or around the regularly scheduled game at any venue of your choice or any other day including after the regular season. But we will not be cancelling any of the games on our schedule.

So all LSU had to do was say that and "bingo" the entire state of Florida jumps through hoops to pacify LSU? LSU has that Power? How?

Right.

LSU has the power here

The game was scheduled for Florida. The only power LSU had on Florida was to either show up or forfeit. It was a

home game.

Which would have resulted in a forfeit.

Playing the game other than when it was scheduled would have required both the SEC and Florida approval. How many open dates are there between the final game of the season and the SEC Championship for this mystical game to have been played?

I don't know what other reality you live in, but it it is scary.
