Millions, easily. The bank I used to use was built in the 20's and is one of those concrete over steel buildings that were built back then when banks wanted to convey security and solidity. 20 foot ceilings in the lobby, granite, marble, the whole nine. You can see the vault from the lobby and it's one of those massive jobs with ilke a 10 foot diameter circular door that's two feet thick. Inside that was basically a jail cell. They'd leave the main door open during business hours and keep the jail cell closed, so you could see inside. Every now and then when there was a large shipment to or from the Federal Reserve (back in the days when they still moved hard cash for everything), there would just be pallets of cash just sitting there 30 feet from you while you deposited or cashed your paycheck.
