Odds just tells you how stupid the public is now someone's chances to win. I once watched zenyatta go off at 5 to 1 in a race.
I put my finger on why this is so big. This is the tipping point between which is better. boxing or UFC. after tonight, one of them will sharpy start to decline
boxing fans don't take UFC seriously. UFC doesn't take boxing fans seriously. if mcgregor wins or even like, makes i9t half arse close, i'd legit start watching UFC fights. If mcgregor gets pummeled , UFC could be done. why watch the inferior sport?

A) UFC going under due to McGregor losing is downright hilarious.
B) A mixed martial artist losing a boxing match to one of the best boxers ever makes MMA the inferior sport? Would Mayweather losing an MMA match to McGregor make boxing the inferior sport?

UFC will be fine, and only get bigger.
It has hardcore fans. Plus people are still warming up to it(probably).
The first time I saw it I noped tf right outta there. It was too much. But now I've warmed up to it.

I don't watch religiously or anything like that, but I can appreciate the different fighting styles and strategies that the matchups bring.

Kickboxing is probably a better sport to check out for most. A lot of people don't like and don't understand the ground game. Kickboxing is face-paced and violent.

I was a boxing fan and hated MMA. My first MMA experience was watching Royce Gracie headline a card back in the mid 90's or so and literallly thought it was crap.
However, MMA has evolved and boxing has basically been stagnant and refuses to get out of it's own way. Everyone in the boxing world is getting on my nerves now so I have no use for them and will happily root for CM tonight.
As some dude on YouTube said...boxing is like a candle who really needs someone to invent a lightbulb. But it's going to take an outsider cause everyone in boxing doesn't believe in electricity.
