The people who need an 'experience' as part of buying groceries deserve to pay the prices charged by the 'experience' grocer.

I hardly buy much at Whole Foods, but I enjoy being able to drink while I peruse the store. Plus their bar area has pretty good happy hour deals.

I'd same the same thing about someone buying a McLaren or a $5,000 handbag or getting a $500 massage or $300 haircut or building a 60,000 square foot house - not my cup of tea, but it's a market and one that can be very profitable for effective firms.
