I think gender dysphoria is a real medical condition but at the same time I think a lot of transgenders do it for reasons other than gender dysphoria. Many do it to fit in or to be different or to because its the "thing to do" or a way to virtue signal. Hence the term "Transtrenders". Then you have some who do it to give their life meaning, or because they have been a failure and convince themselves the reason they have been such a failure was because they are the wrong gender.
The ones who transition for gender dysphoria reasons tend to be successful. The ones who do it for non gender dysphoric reasons are the ones who have regret and kill themselves.
