I just don't see the Knight King as a developed character (because he isn't), and I'm thinking the show would rather there be a showdown between real characters that it has worked 7+ seasons to develop instead of everyone against a drone. I could/probably am wrong though. He also obviously saw the dragon as a threat and wanted it as an ally or else he wouldn't have made a chain appear out of nowhere to pull it up.

He's being developed as the show goes on, numb nuts. He's not just some mindless killing machine. He has his reasons for doing this.

Ok, "numb nuts"--what are his motives? The show has a season left, so shouldn't you know the motives of a character that's been around since season 4 if the character were being developed even a little bit?
