Nope. The History Channel presented a very good docufilm series "Harley And The Davidson's" last year. Don't know if it presented the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but in the movie, Harley was the upstarts to Indian. Indian was ruthless in their efforts to stomp Harley out of existence, along with FoMoCo.
William B Johnson, was both the first African American Harley-Davidson dealer and the first African American licensed to compete in national motorcycle racing events. Johnson signed on with Harley-Davidson sometime in the 1920s, managing during nearly 60 years Johnson’s Harley-Davidson out of a converted blacksmith shop.
Harley Davidson, had that shite covered in the 1920s.
