Resting heart rate of 36 BPM

I'm a runner, my family has a history of low BPMs. My blood pressure was 111/64.

Any of you ever experience similar BPMs?

When I was running a lot and in the best shape of my life in college, I could get my heart rate down in the low 40s

Mine has never been that low but I don't think HR's in the upper 30's are that unusual for serious endurance athletes. I also believe some of it is affected by genetics as I knew a guy who was a 4:10 miler and his resting HR was 56-58 - not very low at all for that level of fitness. Still, if you're at all concerned, I'd say go see a doc for peace of mind.

When out of shape, 60s. When in shape, 45 isn't out of the question.
