I don't know about the actual testing, but I know if you're black and you're applying to law school, just being black gives you a "bump" and can get you into a school instead of a white kid who did better with you on standardized testing (LSAT) and GPA.

Ah OK. You don't really get a bump in your scores, being a minority can benefit your chance of admission (like extracurricular activities, only much more so).

And that's a fair point, particularly at public colleges.

But that has nothing to do with racial composition in Baton Rouge and everything to do with the demographics of the school in question which is how the OP framed this issue.
