I haven't read all the posts but I know at that age I'd definitely be laughing at anything random dudes were speculating about my girlfriend and I.. and it would have absolutely zero impact on* my decision.

I know I said at that age I'd absolutely be following my gf but that's just me. I'd want to be as close together as possible. There's nothing negative about that.
