Thank you for all of the responses so far. They have been very encouraging. I did look at alternatives to GoFundMe, like YouCaring. I believe they take 2.9%.

You Caring is great because of the blog.
It makes it easier to keep everyone updated instead of having to call family & friends & worrying you forgot someone.
