IMHO, this is one of the few things go fund me is awesome for. If a big community can come together and help a family get money to offset the costs of staying with a child who has to see a specialist, why poke fun at it?

This is EXACTLY what gofundme should be used for. Legit causes....Not snowflakes begging for money to "furnish my kids with the cool toys because I don't want to work at a real job".
